Meet Samuel Siebu, a remarkable individual who has made significant contributions to the healthcare industry in the United States. Born and raised in Liberia, Samuel now resides in the United States, where he is currently serving as a Senior Vice President of Human Resources within the healthcare sector.
Samuel is a dedicated family man with a strong faith, striving to improve the lives of those he serves. His passion for improving operations at every level and his zeal for personal development are evident in his educational pursuits. He is pursuing his doctorate in education and human resources administration at the prestigious Drexel University School of Education in Philadelphia.
With nearly four years of experience in his current role as Chief People Officer for a major healthcare company in western Florida, Samuel has also held several other leadership positions in the healthcare industry. These include multiple stints as Vice-President of Human Resources, three years as System Director of Human Resources in Ohio, and four years as Manager in charge of recruitment programs at a Silver Spring, Maryland, hospital.
Despite the hardships he encountered during his academic journey, Samuel never lost sight of his dream to learn. As a child in Liberia, he attended St. Patrick's Catholic High School in Monrovia before moving to Cuttington University College in Suakoko to pursue undergraduate studies. However, due to civil conflict in his country in the late 1980s, he fled as a refugee to Ghana, West Africa, to continue his education. He worked hard in menial jobs ranging from meat processing to garbage collection to fund his academic pursuits. Eventually, Samuel relocated to The Netherlands, where he earned his Master's degree before settling in the Washington D.C. Metro area to further his education.
Today, Samuel holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He also holds a Strategic Workforce Planning certificate from the Human Capital Institute.
